Who makes this item I need.
Who makes an open end air filter for the ford f150 stock air box. I'm taking my airaid off and putting my stock air box back on plus the JohnnyLightning Ram Air Kit with it. I need to know please

Take a look at the Jet air filter(same company that makes the crappy chip).I have one of their air filters.They are made of foam and are reusable.I don't know exactly what you mean by open end air filter but what I do know is that(judging by where all the dust collects on my filter) is that at least 75% of the air flows right through the end.I did feel a small improvment in power when I dropped it in.Maybe this is the type of filter you're lookin for.Maybe not.good luck on the new mod and I hope this helps.

What the Headless man means is a filter just like a K&N except that the end of the cone is actually filter instead of a plastic cap...
and I, unfortunately, do not know of any filters like that...

go to www.carparts.com and look up air filters and cleaners for your truck... here is a link but i saw the "intimidator intake air filter" it looks open on the end and k&n style... check it out
