I just bought a 150 w/4.2 and 2wd. I love the truck but reading about all the trouble with the 4.2 I was wondering if ,god forbid, my engine did blow how hard would it be to swap in a V8. I'm active in a Mustang and Ford club and come across the 4.6 on a regular basis. I just replaced the 3.8 in my wifes car and was shocked to see that a 3.8 cost more than a V8!
