Question True duals on a 4.2L V6???

I am looking to replace the short tailpipe here rather shortly, and I would like to look into installing true dual exhaust. Flowmasters, high-flow cats, and dual 2 1/2" pipe all the way back.

Has anyone done anything like this? I am interested in pictures, designs and any other info that you guys (gals) have to offer.

Thanks much, hope to hear from you soon!

do it man,
i have the true duals, they sound pretty good. it has given me a little in power, but remember, exhuast mods are percentage increases not just one time deals, they increase the hp and torque a certain percentage no matter what mods you got

Are you gonna use an H pipe? Also, don't go any bigger than the 2 1/2 pipes that you mentioned or you can forget about having low end torque.

I am fairly new to exhaust, and I have the seen the H-pipe exhaust for the Mustang. Is this a fairly simple thing for a local exhaust shop to do? I was concerned about backpressure as well, so I am glad that you agree on the 2.5" size. I don't suppose that either of you have seen any prefabbed kit for anything like this?

How much do you estimate it would be for the shop to bend the pipes up for me? I can do the assembly/welding myself.

Thanks again!
