Hi crazedf1,

Patrick's response is right on the money, he has the top 3 best "bang-for-the-buck" mods listed in his signature line.

The Superchip is where most people start, as it offers the most bang-for-the-buck, and that is available directly from us here at Performance Products. We also have an online ordering system right here, which you can access by following the link below in our signature line. The maximum rated gains are 25 horsepower and 31 lbs./ft. of torque at sea level altitude. In round numbers, think of it as a 10%-12% power-gainer.

The Airaid airbox elimination kit is next, and will add about 10 hp to your 4.2 V-6. That is available from the F-150 Online Store, which you can access by clicking on the link on the left side of your screen that says "Online Store". If you don't see it listed, just call them directly at 916-361-2510.

Then last of those top 3 mods is a good cat-back exhaust system, and there are many different brands & types available. The better ones will add about 10 more hp to your 4.2 V-6 F-150, and they too are available from the F-150 Online Store.

While I have listed these 3 mods in order of the best bang-for-the-buck, you can do them in any order you like; you can do all of them, none of them, 1 or 2, whatever you like, in any order you prefer.

If you'd like to go over this in more detail, please feel free to give us a call at our number listed below, we're always happy to help.

Good luck with your truck,

crazedf1, I have the JBA headers. They are a good investment and 50 state smog legal. I got mine at Truckperformance.com
They are cheeper there and you also get free shipping. You can see my mods in my sig. They realy helped out my performance big time. This stuff is not cheap though. For quick results I would get the superchip. The other stuff is a pain in the a$$ to install. Hope that helps.
