Question Custom Exhaust on a 4.2L

Anyone ever run straight pipes on our v6's? My question is, does it sound aggressive or just loud? I want to run straight pipes, but have yet found, actually, any stang or 150 that is a v6 with straight pipes.

Also because I live in CA, would there be a problem of having the muffler shop have the straight pipes clamp on and a muffler setup clamp on? That way when comes time for inspection, I got em. WHen I get a fix it ticket, I got em. Thanks guys

Well if you want a decent sound go for the Ravin si/do. I love the sound it makes a nice loud tone... without being just a racket.
