Trouble starting, theft light stays on!!

Trouble starting, theft light stays on!!
Lately I've had to lean on the starter pretty hard to start my truck. The theft light remains on a blinks as I'm driving down the road. Problem starting seems to be getting worse, theft light situation is intermittent. I have an appointment with service dept Monday. Has anyone experienced these types of problems.......

Had that sort of thing happen a few times, on both occasions it was a worn or clogged fuel filter, you could try that, couldnt hurt and for like 15 bucks its cheaper than having it "looked at" and you can cross off one more thing. JMO
