Yea, it would definitely decrease your power. I got the same gearing, same size engine as you. When I get my lift in Nov 01(when my stock plan is done) I am gonna get 4.10 gearing also. Not only will that compensate for the bigger tires, but also allow for faster acceleration.

Red face

Rilo = undergrad
undergrad = fun
fun = $1300
$1300 = lift

therefore: Rilo = lift!

Ok, I looked for "women to mount" in the f150 online store and couldn't find any. I'm gonna go ask them if they have any of those at Autozone tomorrow. If anyone here has ever mounted more than 1 woman in the bed of their truck at the same time......you are a pimp!!!

RIOLATM~
hey, i'd say go for the lift too. i just ordered the fabtech spindle lift to go along with my 3in body lift. I've got the 4.2L too, but i have 3.55 gears, not sure how much of a difference those make, but i decided the additonal power loss was worth the lift. anyway, good luck deciding, i'll look for your truck in college station.
