Cool

Thanks for all the responses everyone. Several months ago, I was driving down a country when a Q-tip passed me going about 80. After she turned off, I decided to see just how fast I could go. I easily got to 96 with plenty of pedal left, but then the front end got kinda squirly. Felt like the front end was floating. Now one of my tires has a big "cup" in it so I'm afraid to go over 70. Maybe on the next set of tires. Take care y'all.

Cool

I've had my truck up to 150km/hr twice, I was following a young woman in a mustang and had to bring it up to 150 to catch her. We cruised at 135-140 until we hit road construction a distance of 10-15 miles. I was so amazed that my truck would go that fast I did it again on a long straight stretch, hit 150 km/hr and still had pedal left but not enough nerve to push it further. 150 should be about 94 mph, I'm from Canada eh! Snow white if you have tach can you give me optimum shift points and rpm at those speeds?

Sorry I got the 2000 sport XL that has no tach. but there is a digital tach and speedometer hidden in the odometer display. I'll try to find the archive that has that message board topic and then post it here.

I have a 1997 F-150 and it easily goes over 100 mph. I am not sure what the top speed is, but mine has no governor on it.
