Towing Haulmark 6x16 duel axle trailer?
Nah, wasn't thinking about it at the time I had it done, lol
I have trailer brakes also and I went with the P3 brake controller. I would have went dual axle also just for the piece of mind but the tolls around here will kill you with a tandem axle, lol. I also painted the inside.

timmypstyle, I think 5000# is just what the class III hitch can handle. I'm pretty sure it is 3700# with a manual and 3.55's.
Also, I can't believe you were doing 85 with a full 5x10. I don't think the tires they use on those Uhauls are meant to go over 60ish. That's they that have the MPH thing on the fenders. You're lucky, it's dangerous to go that fast towing as much as good did. Glad you made it though.

my first half tank i got 16.8mpg because i was following right at the distance where the air being pushed out from my brother's explorer was hitting my trucks front end. so i dropped back to about 200ft behind him and thats when i got over 19.
Try a 26' v nose..

hauled it 10 miles from home with my ultralight wings inside, so no weight at all. The only time i was worried was when I had to start from a dead stop on an uphill, and had to do it quick to get out of the way of traffic, that hurt the clutch a little. Other than that, i left it in 4th gear and it pulled fine. I think people over react on how much weight you can pull. I'd tow a 25' camper if you'd let me, just have to take it easy, accelerate slowly and leave lot of room from cars ahead of you.
And I know my truck is dirty, but live down a dirt road and it had been raining for 2 days straight.

I don't know how much it weighs. I'm more one of those "If you can hook on to it, you can haul it" type of person lol that's something i should look into tho.
Me and my brother are looking at getting an older 20' camper. I plan on hauling it across Ontario, and I'm not worried one bit about my truck. Might be a little slow going up hills, thats all
