Fifty150, you might wanna do an MSDS search on yer favorite fuel injector cleaner. It 90% high paraffin oil. Might as well use ATF, at least it has SOME cleaners in it and certainly can't screw up the cats any worse. And no, I'm not recommending the use of ATF for anything other than the transmission or PS.

 

How about Acetone? When I was a kid, guys would pour nail polish remover into their gas tanks.

 

The alleged purpose for acetone in the gas is to increase fuel mileage. Mythbusters busted that one.
