what can you do to a v6
I drive a 2000 ford f150 v6 4.2l stock truck and its just not doing it for me i know im going to get a k&n intake still deciding on an exhaust though is im really needing some help
Anything you can do to a V8, you can do to a V6.
But the best mods for the money will be a programmer with custom tunes, underdrive pullies, efans, intake, exhaust, and a light right foot.
Welcome to the board, a d make sure to post up some pics of your truck sometime.

Contact Troyer Performance or VMP Tuning and ask then about the Xcal 2 or Xcal 3, with custom tunes. Those will yield you the most power and MPG increase for your money. They also allow you to adjust certain parameters, such as adjusting for a new tire size and different gears.
You won't be disappointed.

I have a 2004 Reg Cab, short bed. I want to lower the rear end to level it out.
I have a K&N air filter, and a flow master muffler for better mileage. If cared about power, I would drive my 09 4x4 SuperCrew with that 5.4.
