well now im curious, i read on wikipedia that the 4.2 was rated for around 200hp. and close to 250ft/lb. are those numbers accurate?

yes they are, if you are looking for an aftermarket cam look into mustang v6 cams from the same year, they are the same engine diff CID

Raptor - the bore is the SAME between the 3.8 and 4.2.
The stroke is 9mm longer on the 4.2.
