HELP! Engine wont start!!!

Guys, if you could help ASAP, it would be great, I've got to leave for work in a few hours.

Anyways, I pulled off my K&N Series 77 and cleaned everything down, tube and all, and shot some TB cleaner in the throttle body and cleaned that all out. I put everything back together, sand the acid buildup off my (disconnected) negative line, and when I hook it back up and try to start, I hear rapid clicking noises close to the firewall and my tach jumps up to 300-500 rpm. I hooked a jumper up to it, to no avail. Charger says its putting out 9 amps... I have no idea!

-Alex

Edited to add: It is a M5OD, so I could clutch start it, but I kinda parked in an oblong way....
