Autozone can read them for you.

If you get those codes, usually means you have a vacuum leak, or a number of other things.

Driving it will be fine (assuming its the lean codes) ive been driving my truck for three years with the same damn codes... comes back every change of the seasons it seems.
experience says chasing vac leaks, O2 sensors and egr valves is not gonna get rid of the code....this is what your gonna have to do to "fix" it not just get rid of it for awhile

Let's not assume anything till the codes are read. If it runs okay, drive it.

If you live that far from Autozone, maybe you should think of getting your own scanner. They aren't that expensive.

A cheapo but it works. Pays for itself after 2 or 3 trips to the Zone.
