hey man this will be the main type of reply you will get in this section. You need to have this moved to the v6 forum.

Or go to v6f150.com and post there. Theres some crazy f150's there.

Try and get it totaled, file an insurance claim and get a V8 F150. That's the best mod you can do!

I have evey one of those mods and love what they have done for my truck.

CAI= All the same just pick what style you like.

Headers - Don't do much but make it sound a little deeper.

Exhaust - depends on how much you want to spend. Most take it to a shop instead of buying kit due to the price difference.

Plugs - Stick with Motorcraft.

see now why would you even come into a v6 thread and say stuff like that when you have a 4.6 the guy had an honest question and you say somethin like that thats just ignorance at its best now dont try and say well you have a lightning cus if you look at my albums i have a f-150 with a v6 so i have every right to come in here

clearhoops as for your truck i noticed a big difference with the cai like 04 said there all the same i like K&N IMO but i do have an airraid intake on mine cus it was cheaper as for the headers lemme know if you find some i havent really looked tho i just cut the muffler off and clamped on a turndown lol redneck style but its my A to B'er

haha well a stock 4.6l is a dog anyway, get a real v8 get the 5.4l

ur 4.6l may sound better than my 4.2l at idle but when my little 4.2l spools the turbo it will most likely stomp your 4.6l.

Didm't you know that the 4.2 is an even bigger dog stock? I'm sure if I had a turbo, I could stomp the **** out of 5.4's. See I can play your childish game.

okay so a 4.2l which is like 202 at the crank and 2 less cylinders....

vs a 4.6l which is what 223 at the crank? i dont know wtf the new ones are. but thats nothing... its got 2 more cylinders and really not that much more power.

i bet if i turn down the boost and match it closely to the numbers of a stock 4.6l... even with 2 less cylinders id still beat your 4.6l

and of course you say "IF i had a turbo" but you dont.. the question the guy originally had is what mods can he do. first thing you said was "duurrrrr i done did be thinkin u shuda wreck it durrrrr"

if the guy wants to mod a v6 thats up to him he didnt ask for your lame *** opinion anyway.
