Air Bag light on dash???

The bulb may not be completely out so when you tripped it, it decided to work again but maybe a bump in the road changed its mind. Just go get you a replacement bulb and solder it in and it will be fine. I haven't had a single problem with mine since I replaced that bulb.

...and with the 120 someodd dollars I saved doing it myself instead of letting the local dealer try and swindle me into replacing the entire PAD, I bought a remote start/alarm system for my truck.

thanks for the info, ill be changing the bulb this weekend, but does the light go off on its own or do I have to do something.

Mine recently blinking... Does anyone know what airbag code 1-9 means? Any help is appreciated.

I had the 2-7 code. you can re-sauter a new bulb (12volt from what ive read on other forums) to the circuit board inside your P.A.D. switch, or do what i did and go get a new switch from the junkyard for 5 bucks. dont take it to the dealership, they want 80 bucks for a new switch. the junkyard replacement works great in my truck though...

thats exactly what I did, Radio shack didnt have any of the LED bulbs so I got one from the local junk yard and switched the key switch.
