V6 vs. V8 numbers

raptor is getting 20 mpg with a stock tip and his k&n. 227hp to boot. cant hurt anything with those numbers. actually i think he is getting 17 now, his local murphy usa switched to 10% ethanol

manual all those things are crazy talk and you used to always brag on your truck and how much you loved it and it could do anything... and now your bagging it...
v6f150 dont like you bc u made all these crazy threads/posts that were annoying and pointless..and im an active user and i live in pa ..

A few discouraging v6f150.com facts:
1. Out of those 3600 members, there are 10 active members.
2. Those 10 active members are moderators.
3. Those members control what they want others to post.
4. It's questionable that it was sold to a new owner... the original owner that owned a Turbocharged V6 F150 dumped it off to the new owner.
5. They talk about HHO, and how 8 of the 10 members say they get 50 mpg.
6. If you ask a legitmate question on the site, it either gets ignored, or else fun is poked at it, and the question never gets answered. Or else it gets deleted mysteriously.
7. The owner of the site bans users not because they cause trouble, but merely so they can re-register and bring up the member count.
8. Out of the 10 of the active members, there is probably 300 accounts for each active member. The owner problem gave them money to sit back, and create fake users all day and to post questions that were posted on other sites.
9. If you are not from Texas, they will ban you.
10. They have a private section that you can pay for. Yet, from dealings with them, and a few other people, the owner rips money off people and Paypal won't do a darn thing about it too.

I like my Dakota, and my F150.
Please, quit whining and get over it. That forum will never be as great as F150online.com. Hence IB buying it out.
Besides, I find the diversity of people on here to be much more intelligent.

ManualF150 was a pest. Like others here have said, his so-called facts have already been refuted but I would like to point out that I'm a moderator on v6f150.com, not from Texas, not banned and I'd also like to say that as far as the site goes, I've learned an awful lot about my truck from the original members of the site and I find it a generally great place to be a part of. Anyone is more than welcome to join regardless of what they drive as long as they adhere to the rules. ManualF150 chose not to follow the rules and Mike did what he felt was necessary. Nobody else in the history of the site has had any issues like ManualF150 had.
What a butthead... I was on V6F150 when Talley owned it, and I still visit almost daily.. It is THE lead source of info on the 4.2... This is an underappreciated engine, but of course aftermarket parts availability favors the 8's... Thats ok though, I love it when I have to pop the hood to PROVE it's a V6 and then they start lookin' for the nitrous!!
