installed lower end of 4.2 rebuild and did not read far enough ahead in the Haynes manual. I need to install my cam bearings and do not want to cart the thing to a shop to press them in. Haynes does not have any input on this at all. I've heard that putting the bearings in freezer and using a race bearing install tool might work. I can take the connecting rods off of the crank as I am waiting for the tork to yield bolts from ford dealer after I plastigaged rod bearings so I can make some room to work. Any help on this would be greatly apppreciated.
