What would a reduction pulley do for me and where is the best place to buy one. 2002 F150 4.2.

Pros and cons?

 

PRO: more power


Con: $240 for 99+

 

my buddy has a 3.8 mustang and after researching i found out the 3.8 and 4.2 are pretty much the same motor, just that the 4.2 has way better torque and a better crank because of the vehicle its in ( f-series). My question is will his underdrive pulleys ( alt., crank ) fit onto my 4.2 f-150 ???
