If you do, how did you get it?

Oh, and one more thing. If you bought it new from a dealership, I want the VIN number as proof.

I've got a F150 "ManualF150" edition... it has a 5.4l Roush Supercharged V8, with an Eaton Fuller RoadRanger 10 Speed Fully Manual Transmission. It does a blistering 0-60 mph in 1 minute and 27 seconds after my right arm falls off.

The vin is:

1FTRF720B49Z40964 (It might not come up because it is considered a "special use vehicle"...)

that said, you are all wrong about your conclusion for the lack of manual sales. Only way is with a V6? Tell that to the guys ON THIS FORUM with the 4.6 and a manual tranny.
Oh, is that right? Well at least I base my percentages on facts instead of pulling them out of thin air like you. So who is the dumb one again?

Tell me of one person on this forum that bought a standard new body style 2004 F-150 with a 4.6L and manual tranny stock from the factory. Or even anyone with a standard new body style 2004 F-150 with a manual tranny from the factory if that's easier for you. Have fun on your wild goose chase!

Considering how quickly you over look every single valid point I present so you can ramble on like the idiot you are, the last thing I will do is waste my time proving what I already know.

Another member also confirmed the facts about the ratio of sales that were found in another post- if you don't believe me, either keep burying your head in the sand or look it up yourself.

At the end of the day, I get to laugh because you're the puts left crying over spilled milk. Enjoy your budget-mobile

Are you giving up already?

Where's the person with the new body style 2004 F-150 with a 4.6L and manual tranny standard from the factory that you've been talking about? What's wrong, can't quite pull him out of thin air?

Keep looking!

Not too sure if it's really that low... but I've got to admit, it's either luck, or I've been seeing two of the following or both:

1. v6 F150s 97-07
2. 5 speeds 97-03 (not too many on the NBS probably due to how Ford cut the customer off on options)

Or maybe I'm just in manual v6 F150 heaven... but I don't think so.

In fact I saw a OBS v6 F150 5 speed 4x4 blow past me hauling a Foxbody Mustang on a dual axle trailer a couple days ago. I knew it was a 5 speed because we were at the same height when he went by me on the left and I saw the stick. So... I dunno... it's a VERY tough call.

Nice one...

But it's a lot better than what most people drive.

Yeah, no complaints here, that's just what I bought it for. Plus I have another truck and two other cars to choose from.

Same here... I got my Dakota... and the Compass... and I might be buying a '99-'04 OBS F150 with the 4.6l V8 Supercab 4x4 5 Speed next year... I need to find a good one. It'll complete me.

I believe 03 was the last year of the 5 speed on the 4.6. The NBS 04 V6 was auto only - you had to get a Heritage to get a stick, I believe they put the 5 speed back into the 05 V6 NBS. Only thing I don't know offhand is if you could get a 5 speed on a 04 Heritage with a 4.6.

It's very possible that only 1% of the current F-150's have a stick (sounds about right when you can only get one on an essentially stripped truck) - but I'm also pretty sure that if they bothered to OFFER it more across the line that % would be a LOT higher.

Every drivetrain combo must go through separate emissions certifications - that's the reason they keep cutting it back. That's also prolly the reason they don't offer the 5R110 in the 150 - unless it's just too big to fit. That's also why the axle ratio choices are a lot less than they used to be.

Hey, it's a shot in the dark... who knows... I've already got about 60 people from college... I'm going to scan my legal pad full of names and comments.

No one really gave me a problem in person, except for some women... but no one had an objection for stick. Some even said they'd love to learn...

I have quite a few companies that use v6 f150s with standard shifts to sign up... I know they will.

But........... here is where you officially sign up.

https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...d.php?t=316411

Just say, something like, "Yes, I believe Ford should offer a manual transmission in the F150."

Nothing special really.

What I'm going to do is I'm going to copy the usernames that agreed with the petition along with the comments and put them onto a few sheets of paper, so I when I mail it off to Ford, they will get the right image.

But I've got a feeling they will just do one of the following:

1. Use it for rough toilet paper.
2. Burn it for heat.
3. Actually read it and put the stick back in the F150.

It's like playing the lottery all over again!
