Yucky Fuel Mileage!
Yucky Fuel Mileage!

I noticed that my fuel mileage, once used to be 22 mpg is now like 16.2 mpg.

I dunno what my engine is thinking... unless it is the single digit weather.
However, no pinging though, and it has awesome road ripping power!

I had my trailer and bed filled with random junk and it hauled it with more power than I actually needed.

I'm lucky to get 15 out of mine. I think the gas in Fort Worth just sucks. I need to fill up in Granbury next time I go out there. Good ole country gas is probably better than this 10% ethanol crap I get here.

At least on my truck it stays really warm... however during the initial start up from sitting over night, it takes forever to get warm... but once it's warm, it stays warm unlike the Compass. Not only that, but I always need to have the temp dial always to the hottest position... and even then it is only pushing luke-warm air. My F150 pushes scorching hot air, which is great for the winter months!

That Compass must have a 160F thermostat or something. I've talked to other owners and they all said the same thing... that car doesn't stay warm for anything. But I suppose that's good for the summer heat though.
However, getting back to the F150... I think Ford built it well for withstanding cold climates well.
I, for one, am happily able to say I get 41 mpg!
One study proved that the average American walks 900 miles in a year, and another study shows that the average male American drinks 22 gallons of beer a year!
900 miles
-------- = 41 mpg!
22 gallons
