Are the 04+ 6 bangers non interference motors?

I have an 07 and cant find diddly squat intake, header, or exhaust wise... what gives? can anything be retrofitted from other motor sized trucks like a 4.6?

 

Ok, I finally found Airaid makes intakes... now onto other goodies

 

Anything from a 02+ V6 can be installed.

But headers will need some bending on the EGR tube to work.

 

So let me get this straight. Any thing 02-03 will work out of the last generation V6 truck?

 

The heads, lower intake and the block are all the same pretty much.

The intake routing is the same, so most CAI will work with some minor adjusting.

Exhaust is easy to minipulate. Any kit made for the 4.2 will fit, But can be made much cheaper than any premade kit.


Even certian mustang parts (the 3.8 V6) considering that the 4.2 is a stroked and bored 3.8
