few 4.2 v6 questions

i got the 2004 4.2 auto heritage. wanted to know who much oil it holds and if it had timing chain or belt?? also what is the change interval???

6 quarts,including the the filter.And,it has a timing chain.The oil changes are every 3-5k miles.The timing chain usually lasts as long as the engine does,200k miles or more.

Yeah, the 4.2l will outlast most of the 4.6l and 5.4l v8s. I dunno why. You'd think it would die earlier pushing a the load of a F150... but they just don't quit.
