power steering noise

Hello My 97 4.2 4x4 has got the most annoying whirling sound all the time, nothing different while turning, not rough, not hard. Seems fine, but extremely loud. Any help would be appreciated

yea i had that problem with my truck i had to get under it and put a small hole in the rubber covering that is over the steering column and spray it with wd40
