99 Xlt 4.2l-v6 Stalls @ Acceleration
Any suggestions?
When I punch the accelerator from a full stop it seems like the engine doesn't have sufficient power to take-off. After the RPM'S pick up the truck flies. For some reason I can't seem to peel-out. I just feel the truck has more to offer, without having to modify it with performance parts. This weekend, I will be changing the plugs, wires, air filter, and fuel filter. I would greatly appreciate your help.

3/28/07 Well, changed plugs, wires, fuel filter, and reconditioned K&N cone filter to no avail.
I read on another thread that the ignition coil may be the culprit? Is there any way to check this
before buying it?
