This does not mean that you can't wake up that little 6 of yours. What I am trying to say is that in order to get any kind of power gains that you will actually be able to feel, you are going to have to spend a considerable bit of money.
Unless you can afford to go with some kind of force induction setup ( ie. turbo or super charger) you aren't going to get any gains you can actually feel.
the other alternative is to remove your engine, strip it down to the block
and re-build it with performance parts. that would cost you way more money that going the bolt on route. not to mention your choices may be limited.
so the end result is that waking up a 4.2 can be done just not cheap.
well im new to this but i thought i could learn alot. I have looked all over and found all kinds of adds for the V6 well 98 that is. They have headers throttle body spacers and with the right exhaust and some others you i believe you might be able to notice something
