realistically, probably 2 or 3 more than it would with stock exhaust. You could even loose some of your low end torque if you free it up too much.

you won't get much more than a few more ponies with just pipes and a filter.

This does not mean that you can't wake up that little 6 of yours. What I am trying to say is that in order to get any kind of power gains that you will actually be able to feel, you are going to have to spend a considerable bit of money.

Unless you can afford to go with some kind of force induction setup ( ie. turbo or super charger) you aren't going to get any gains you can actually feel.

the other alternative is to remove your engine, strip it down to the block
and re-build it with performance parts. that would cost you way more money that going the bolt on route. not to mention your choices may be limited.

so the end result is that waking up a 4.2 can be done just not cheap.

If you do that to it, you're likely to see about 140 horses. Not kidding.

well im new to this but i thought i could learn alot. I have looked all over and found all kinds of adds for the V6 well 98 that is. They have headers throttle body spacers and with the right exhaust and some others you i believe you might be able to notice something

Whos post are you referring to? Alot of these things are small, but collectively a little more helpful. But nothing that anyone has posted so far would yeild 140 hp gains. Even using a S/C, most are rated at 50% increase (+/- 10) On an engine rated at 210 thats 210 X .5 = 105hp. Lets try not to get anyones hopes too high here considering thats probly the most expensive route he could go.
