What are some good cold air intakes for a f150 XL V6?

 

Here's the Air Force One for the 97-03 models from Troyer's website. Not a bad deal for stainless steel, and the highest dyno-proven hp/trq gains of all the air intakes on the market.

It worked great. May not look as cool, but hay what can I say. All it cost was the filter. I scrounged the rest.

 

I built my own also... very easy and fraction of the cost. I think looks are the only downside... I don't see other brands performing much better than mine.

 

Try lookin at airaid intakes they make some for a 4.2L but some Cold air intakes that are made for a 4.6 L engine work for a 4.2 L...I think some K&N 4.6L work on a 4.2L

 

I seriously doubt that.
