Talking Success!!!!!!!!!

9:00 PM all is well in my garage. Started right up and stunk up the place burning off all the cleaner/antifreeze/whatever else might have been in it. Could tell computer was "re-learning" settings idle went up and down for a bit, then smooooothed right out.
When I get the O2 sensors in, I will put them in ASAP.
Has anyone ordered from sparkplugs.com?
Let me know. :santa:
Thanks for all the input,
20 degrees in Minnesota

Arrow Oxygen sensors

In looking on the net internet the pics I saw of the Bosch units look different than the 4 wire OEM units I have in now.
At one parts site I used "live help" and chatted with Neo, and he pulled up Denso as the OE unit.
Bosch's plug looks different on line, which I know can be misleading.
Auto parts warhouse on line shows pics and the Denso unit looks like a match.

Yep, antifreeze came out first, (not much) then old oil.
Well I am getting the Denso units from sparkplugs.com shipped to my house for $85.00 for 2. Hope they work.
Cheap person that I am found that to be a pretty good price.
Will let you all know.

Congrats Hipster!

Just wondering, you said you were gonna post pics.

And what about that story of your 9 year old hero?

Talking My hero

I was just finishing the second torque sequence for the intake, my arm brushed a bolt from the acutator onthe back side of the intake(?) into the manifold.
I saw it from the corner of my eye, I heard it go "plink" down in the intake port. I thought naa could'nt have gone in there, but I searched and searched around and was getting angry or ready to cry and went inside for breather. The thought ocurred to me and I asked my 9 year old if he still had those "button magnets" he goofs around with. These little watch battery sized magnets could pull each other around through 3/4" countertops!
I stuck one a 1/4" ID peice of clear vinyl tubing 12" long and began to "probe" Thanks god the heads are aluminum. I tried each port and was still not getting anything out, when I tried the suspect port one more time really pushed the tube down in there and that lovely "pink" sound when something steel is picked up by a magnet happened.
Out came the little #$^$! bolt!
I went in and told him I was his slave for the night, but that did not get him any more stay up time (it was a school night).
Just received the O2 sensors today and will fire up the heater in the garage to put them in. 8 degrees last night in MN.
Sorry about pics, how do you add them? Do I put them on a web host or something?
