I have a 2000 f150 with the v6 and when i am driving it sometimes my digital odo goes out only to come back on a few minutes later. I am just wondering if anyone else is havving a problem like this and if so do you know how to fix it? thanks

Yep, took me about an hour from start to finish after I searched for the answer for over a year.

 

thank you for pointing me to that thread. Im printing it of now and will attempt to make the repair. glad to know I am not the only one with the problem

 

Just take the hammer away from the gremlin and all will be swell!

 

Mine 99 did the same thing about two years ago. The numbers on the digital read out would just blank out. Luckily I had warranty and the dealership replaced the dash cluster.
