Heres my fix

I had the same problem a few weeks ago. Eventually I found it cause it was making a hissing noise, sprayed it with starting fluid to make sure, yup that was it.
This is the PCV hose elbow right underneath the throtle body. It definately had a big hole in it. I think it was $12 at the dealer.

I also had P1407 code throw up, replaced one of the sensors that i bought from Clermont Ford after picking their brains and that appears to have sorted that one. thought that the other codes were linked but still learning. The main Ford Dealer in Rugby where i live is last resort. Richard

Hi Darren, the sensor is about a small rectangle 1/4 inch thick buy 1 1/2 square with two small tubes on the back that push into the rubber tubes on the truck and it plugs into a 3 pin connector. the number on the back of it is YF1E-9J460-AD along with >PBT-GF30< .As for it stalling i have only had the truck about three months with no problems. after fitting a new air filter on saturday the service light is (touch wood ) still off, have done a lot of running about this weekend see what happens next week.

YF1E-9J460-AD is a DPFE. This is a common failure item and the dealerships are the only ones who have the latest updated part.

everyone listen!!! u must take off your upper plenum on your manifold beneath hidden beneath it are about 2-3 more elbows and vacum lines that will be rotted through. i tookj off my plenum to get to my manifold thinking my manifold gaskets were bad and i just replaced all the lines under the plenum and my codes went away for good.

Have someone go to the local Ford dealer, buy it, and send it to you.

Can't the UK Ford dealers order them?

I believe this is a dealer-only item.

The vacum schmatic is in front of the fan cowling when you open the hood of your truck.
