hesitaition off the line?
hesitaition off the line?
It seems that if i am at a dead stop and floor it in first, that it hesitates before any real acceleration. i dont think it did taht a few weeks ago. i went through the odemeter to look at the tach, could i have changed any settings in the computer by scrolling through all of those?
Thanks.
Thanks.
i dont know when it has been changedd but the car only has 32,000 miles on it. ill maybe try changing the filter and putting some seafoam in the tank. i just want to make sure it has nothing ot do with the computer.
Go ahead and clean your TB too.I prefer to use Deep Creep, made by SeaFoam, but any TB cleaner will do.DO NOT use carb cleaner! Get a soft bristle tooth brush too.First, unhook the negative battery cable. Then, remove the TB cover and the 90* elbow to the TB.Spray the inside of the TB working the throttle cable to open the butterfly, spraying the back side of the butterfly. Then use the toothbrush to scrub everything down, esp. the back side of the butterfly and where it seats in the TB.Spray everything down again to rinse the excess.Dont worry about it going into the engine; it will burn off as soon as you start the engine.Rehook the negative battery cable, start it up,take it for a ride to let the computer relearn the engine, and enjoy the new found power!
I think that is normal. I bracket race mine and I have to accelerate it at the second yellow bulb to catch good reaction times. By the way the sixty feet time is 2.75secs.. I got the slowest 60 feet from all the cars i raced with.
