My 97 F150 4.2 had antifreez leaking in 1 &4 cyl. A frind that works ford as a truck & van mech. said that not only does intake gaskets leak but head gaskets leak to . and to make sure he said if it was his he would do both. So i bought materals , Aprox. 300. bucks, anouther frind runs a machine shop so he did the , he hato put 1 new valve, milled ,& done 3 angle valve joheadsb ,new freez plugs. charged me 210.00 bucks, other frind charged me 400. labor. so total,910.00, he also put on new wires & plugs. witch i bought. what do you thank ?? was it waste of money? this truck looks exc. It has been long time since i have had work like this done, thats why i would like to see if they did cut me any slack. thanks Gil
