4.2, 2wd, low gears (3.15 ??) 4sp aod... believe it or not, but I was towing a pop-up, with a fully loaded bed out west couple years ago. I **** you not, I got 23 mpg !! I almost died... I thought the mileage would really drop with all the load, but the constant speed (od off) really helped. Around town every day driving get around 16-17 mpg.
