ok, here is my dilema,

i just made my truck payment(a little late!) and i found out my payoff is 2900 which i can have paid off by sept.!! now, do i use that 320 a month for mods, or buy a new hd, or an L? i alredy have my mod list set up:

headers-370
intake hone (upper and lower)-680
super charger-3300
70 throttle body-280
stage 2 clutch(needs bad)-420
posi-240
3.55-180
msd ign.-340
tach adaptor-50

for a grand total of 6060

any input will be appreciated!!

Id say save the money for an L if you want speed, 6000+ as a down payment for an L would be quite nice. If not then just the an F-250 or a 2004 F-150, and lift the **** out of it .

Im kind apondering a trade in for 2004 f-150.

don't hone your intakes... don't go with a 70mm TB. buy the supercharger for 3,300 and get 42# injectors, 80mm L maf or 75mm Pro-M, 255 walbro fuel pump, buy a 11PSI pulley and get it dyno tuned. oh ya... get the headers too.

that'd put you 300rwhp and if you shift good enough to run very very low 14's... 13's are a possibility.

A Harley or an L would be much nicer. Use your money for a down payment, and get it for 5 years. That should avg. around 350-400 a month. Maybe a little more. I dunno, but it's worth a try!

Moose,

You know my theory on new trucks

If you're dumping $6K into the V6 for performance, why not go for a Lightning?

How does the Gibson split rear sound on a V6? Any performance gains?

97,

the sound is good, but it takes away from the low end, but the top end performance is unbeleivable!.

i wish i would have researched it before hand, cause i would have gotten a series 40 flowmaster, with a custom bent system, like my dads!!
