Couple questions:

1. What is with the corrosion on the engine block?
2. The belt looks like it needed to be changed out at it's 100k service judging from the glazing.
3. Why are there some photos with the 6.2l logo and some without?
4. I'm assuming the KOEO is why the CEL is lit.
5. Why is the key being held with steel wire? Was/Is this a rental?

Thank you for your interest, and I appreciate the questions.

1. What is with the corrosion on the engine block?
As you know, unlike the 5.0 the 6.2 uses a cast iron block. I do see some patchy surface corrosion in certain spots around the (black painted) block, but nothing like the exhaust manifold (which is uniformly rust colored). The truck was purchased new at a metro Atlanta dealership and other than some road trips to neighboring states it has spent most of its time here in Georgia (which has very mild winters, they might use salt once or twice a year?). Of course the truck was born in Dearborn, Michigan too.

2. The belt looks like it needed to be changed out at it's 100k service judging from the glazing.
I changed it at 82K miles, and the "new" one now has 29,000 miles. I *think* what you're seeing is my poor car detailing technique (and overzealous application of a shiny product). But I'll inspect it more carefully in the morning. Thank you for calling this to my attention.

3. Why are there some photos with the 6.2l logo and some without?
I liked some of the older "glamour" shots from before I installed the custom badges, so I decided to use a few in my listing. The badges are currently on the truck (so those photos showing the badges are more recent/accurate).

4. I'm assuming the KOEO is why the CEL is lit.
Correct, the CEL does not stay illuminated. Bad timing when I took the photos, but I'm glad you mentioned it (other people may notice the same). Next time I should ask you to screen all of my photos.

5. Why is the key being held with steel wire? Was/Is this a rental?
That's just some plastic cord (think fishing line but thicker and softer). I am not a key chain kind of guy (prefer less in my pocket or hanging off the steering column), plus when I'm doing stuff outdoors and don't have pockets, I can wear the cord around my wrist or tie it somewhere safe. But to directly answer your question, no the truck was never used as a rental.

Thanks for the bump! I've had a few nibbles, but mostly the "I need to sell my old car first" or "let me see if I can find the funds" types. Whoever does end up biting will be going home with a really nice truck!
