Hi folks. Just found this forum as I am about to return to the fold and buy another 150. Sold my last one in '99 and bought a GMC. Not a bad truck, but not a Ford either. Had a few problems with it, had more with the dealers.
So here it what I found, a 2003 F-150 Supercab XL Sport 4x4, 4.6L/auto, cruise, tilt, air, AM/FM CD, class III, and not alot else. Just a simple truck (with the 4WD lever on the floor instead of a %^&* button).
MSRP $28495...sale $22988. I can step up to the same truck in XLT trim for another $2800. Given the current state of it being a buyer's market, how does all this sound?
I am VERY anxious to get back in a Ford (hence my name).

If you havent...do a test drive with 4.6L and then 5.4L.
You may want the bigger engine/maybe not?

I hope it's a good price as I signed the papers about an hour ago. I promised myself if they met the price I wanted for my trade, that I would do it. They did, so I did.
I'm back in the arms of mother Ford where I belong.
