How about a good used truck deal!?
In April of '96 I bought a '94 F-150, XL, A/C , 4.9L, 5-speed, Long Bed, Dual tanks, towing package. Had only 24,000 miles on it at 3 years old! Paid $9500 cash for it from a private party. Current KBB retail is still above that with 68,000 miles on it now! I'm happy!

'94 F-150, 4.9 6cyl., K&N FIPK, Mangecor 8mm wires. Gibson 3" Side Swept, MSD Blaster Coil. Recently Superchipped! Stereo under construction, 2-10" Rockford Fosgate, 600 Watt Amp. Pioneer head unit, will sound great if it ever gets done! Est. 200 hp 300ft/lb. Torque! Not bad for a straight 6!! New project: '82 Stang, 351 Windsor. I'll keep ya posted.

My truck: 1998 F-150 4X4 SC XLT 139" Flareside with 4.6 engine. Options: Auto trans., Off road package, electronic shift transfer case, sliding rear window, trailer tow package, and CD changer. MSRP was $29,475. I paid $26,565. Dealer invoice was $25,792 not including their $868 hold back from Ford, meaning the dealer price was $24,924. In other words, the dealer made $1,641 over their cost at least. BTY the "A plan" cost for this truck was $24,550. I paid on the higher side of average for this truck and do really like driving it but could have done alot better. Hope this post helps future buyers.

- 3.73 LS

- Sliding rear window
- 60/40 bench

Well, here's another!

Took delivery of my 99 S/C Sport on 4 Sep 99, details on the equipment in signature below. MSRP: $26,500, Paid: $22,800. It was a dealer Demo with 1800 miles when I took delivery. I got a few extras I hadn't originally wanted, but can't live without them now! I love it!

I ordered mine this summer and took delivery 10/16/99. The sticker was $29,020, invoice was $25,325, and I paid $24,193 ("Z" Plan price). As always, I thank my father-in-law for the big discount as he is a retired Ford employee.

Plus Tax and Lic. And I got 5.9% for 60 Months. I guess its ok for a year end. I was at Tousley Ford in MPLS, MN. its a one price dealer and they wanted 28,200.00 and I told the salesman I wanted to go and see this other dealer to compare the trucks and prices. Well the salesman told me to just call them, they can not beat our prices. OK I called Brookdale Ford, and they blew his price away. Two hours later I was a proud owner.
