Question What should I pay?

Hey I have found an 86 F-150 with the 302 Feul Injected and a 4-speed. It was a one owner and has low miles. There is no rust on the vehicle and it runs great with around 100 to 120K miles on it. What should I pay? Any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Cool

I went to www.kbb.com and clicked on "Used car" then "Ford" then "Trucks" and after entering 120k in miles got a price of $4375.
Don't pay more than that.
Good luck

Thumbs down

Is that retail or wholesale?
Retail KBB values on used cars and trucks are a load of BS.
Heck I looked mine up and according to KBB it's worth $500.00 more than MSRP when it was new. www.edmunds.com is much more reliable.

I paid 2200 for a 83 302/AOd 140k and sold it about 6 months later for 3900...With a rebuilt engine of course...

I would say under 3000 grand!

I have noticed the same thing 54regcab!

I use it as a guide only...nothing absolute! I tend to check out several sources and come up with an average. Edmunds IS a bit better.

Wink

Another thing to try is to look in your local paper and see waht they are going for in your area.
Also check Ebay and see what ppl are bidding on them.
