Is it me or does the TOTY not have the appeal on this Forum like it once did?

As much as I appreciate being considered, I am really surprised at how low the voter count is. Seriously, these are all very nice rigs and TOTM winners, so why the low participation? The TOTM seems to be going stronger with more participation, thank goodness, but I have seen days go by here without a single comment or additional vote for someone.

I am also thinking there is not much fan fare about this anymore either. We are nearing the end of February already and I think a lot of folks aren't thinking about anything relative to last year and/or are not even aware about the TOTY contest unless they specifically click on the thread. Otherwise, I can't explain why we have such nice trucks with little to no votes.

I think the low participation is F150online wide actually. The Care & Detail section is pretty much dead these days. Used to be 10+ threads per day. Similar for exhaust, the body style year sections, and even classifieds. Its unfortunate to have lost so many folks.

TOTM/Y however I have made it a point to check out unlike how I used to. Never cared but then I got into it. Never been nominated and sorta don't expect to but its not grudge worthy. I still like to see who is up against who and comparing what I like about whomever ride.

 

Actually, you're right as I noticed same on the threads I usually visit. Seems to take days to get a new post or response. I still like this forum as there are a lot of great folks on here, but sure hope membership and participation picks up.

 

I participate a little less on this forum than I do on the other that I'm a member of...I've run into a rude fellow or two on this one when I was just trying to give opinions and experience, so I've backed away from posting a little bit.
