Hey Maniac,
If your still lurking around this thread, I've been thinking about your problem. Maybe they just need to make a few adjustments to your trans. Shift selenoids(as I understand them) are a kind of pressure spring. When ATF runs through the passeges of the valve body it puts pressure on these springs which actuate the shift. I know they can swap out the selenoids for ones with different spring rates. Maybe there are ways to adjust line pressure(ATF fluid pressure) on the outside of the trans. Talk to a good trans shop.

Let us know what you find out, I for one am interested.

Well my truck is back and shifting great (like new). The problem was in the codes of the electronic shifter. There was suposed to be one and there was three. So he put new manual lever and sencor on and recoded it.He says that this problem happens to most older model fords. The cost was 131$. Which was not bad when you think about it. Well C YA LATER !!!!! C YA around Hobbit !!!

That's great PQ,
Aren't computers great! That's why they call it garbage in garbage out.
Glad it was a relatively simple fix.
