Hi Sunshine

Not sure i understand your question. When going into drive its winding out and stays in 2nd gear?

Anyway if its staying in second gear, well you know that aint good. Just dont wind er up to hi, go easy. But.....

Did trans fluid look dark or smell burnt. If your pan has a plug, drain out fluid, refill with new fluid. thats not complete drain but may help, if no plug, might not be worth effort at this time.

You didnt give specifics, age miles etc, so could be small fix now or big fix later???

Good luck. OT
