Question B&M Light Truck Transpak for a 4R70W

Just got the kit for my 99' F150 and wondered if any one had done this particular install before. The instructions look good enough, but I was wondering what I could use to take out the 1-2 Accumulator without having to buy the specialty tool from Ford. It said that an experienced tech could remove it without the servo tool, but with what his teeth? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

We build a different version of the 4R70W at Sharonville, I'll walk down to that line and ask a repairman over there to show me what this entails, take a few out myself and get back to you in a day or two.
Good enough?
Hope it helps, I'll post soon,

Cool

HI!... AUKAI : All you need is a pair of good "SNAP RING" pliers to get the snap ring out that holds the 1-2 accumulator. That's what I used when I installed my BAUMANN ENGINEERING shift kit. The pliers cost about $10 at your local hardware store.

Neal's right, a regular pair of snap ring pliers will work okay, they use a set of "ring pliers" to remove them at work, but I use regualr snap ring pliers to remove similar parts on the 4R100.
If you're having trouble with it, I have a special service for all residents of your state, you pay to bring me there, and I'll fix the transmision for free!

Hope this helps, let me know if you want me to come fix it,

Factory_Tech thats a pretty good service deal. I'll have to look that one up in my owners manual. By the way how well does a lightning supercharger and intercooler fit into a suitcase?
