i just bought a used pickup that had the transmission rebuilt a while before i bought it. i like the pickup except the noise it makes when you hit the gas pretty hard. it sounds like something is grinding against the floorboard even though there isn't anything. when the truck is in park and i rev the engine up it doesn't make the noise so i figure it is the transmission. i asked the guy who owned it and he said it had been like that since he had it redone what would you advise me to do about it, since i don't have the money to fix the transmission. or am i sol?
