Question Do I have this right?

If I get a transgo shift kit and sonnax valves I will still have a sloppy shift since my stock computer has the delays built in?

Hmmm. The TransGo fixes the slow & sloppy trans portion, but I thought there were still timing "delays" etc. in the computer!

Right, the Transgo improves things much but the only way to get rid of the delay (actually it's a timing retard) is with a chip or some kind of reburn.
I think you can get more information on this from Mike in the chip section. I have both the chip and the Transgo and mine punches like a pro boxer.
