I can't get my trans into 5th gear and reverse I have to hold it in and it grinds and still pop out. I was told that it was reverse synchironizer, But no parts other than a upgrade kit for around $650.00. Does anyone no where I can get parts to fix it. Or if that is what the problem is?

Is that the same tranny as the Ranger? If so, there used to be Ranger page linked in the 'other links' from this page. I remember that a lot of people were having trouble with the Ranger 5 speed, primarily because the plastic plugs sealing the tranny would deform and the fluid would leak out.
