Question Advice on B&M Shiftplus please?

Alright I have read almost every post on this site having to do with the BM Shiftplus shift improver kit and really wanted to know about something. I have a 2K F150 XLT, 5.4 V8, Xtended cab with 3.73 rear axle. Here is my dilemna, I read that it boosts line pressure in the tranny, makin it shift faster and harder. People say its bad because more line pressure is bad for the tranny, that is why it is bad to run it in setting two for prlonged periods of time. So what happens when it is in setting one, does it still cause damage in the tranny or does it do it good? Some advice please?

i have the BaM shift plus on my 97 4.6.i love it,BaM says not to drive whit the number 2 setting on.its for towing and race only.the number 1 setting is for every day driving.i have had mine for 8 or more months now and love it.for $40 its the way to go.just watch how much you use the number2 setting.just go and get it,you will be happy with it.

Kevin, did it make that much difference in how the tranny feels?

I've got a 97 also with the 4.6, seems like a good inexpensive mod if it is worth the price.

p.s. how are the Americans looking for the upcoming season?
