Question Manual tranny clutch adjustment

Forgive me, for I know absolutely nothing about trannys. I recently bought a 96 4.9l f-150 with the 5 speed manual with 58KM on it. I have heard this was a mazda transmission. When I bought the truck it seems like I had more clutch throw than I do now only 6 mo's later. It engages practicly at the floor. I know I need to change the gear and tranny fluids soon, as I am now at 62KM. My question is this: Is there an adjustment on this clutch to give it more throw? I know I have not burned up this clutch, as I have never driven an automatic from the time I learned how to drive - I don't ride clutches. If there is an adjustment, Can I do this myself?

Thanks

Unfortunately there is no adjustment for this clutch mechanism.
I recently had the exact same problem with my 95 F150 4.9L( clutch to the floor no throw)
It turns out that the hydraulic slave cylinder was leaking which reduces the pressure exerted on the clutch pressure plate assembly giving it that flat bottomed out feeling, eventually my clutch pedal stayed on the floor.
I bought the new concentric slave cylinder for $85.00 and installed it myself. It was about a 9 hour job since the tranny had to be removed and the slave cylinder slides over the input shaft of the tranny. Real stupid design if you ask me.
The old style of slave cylinders mounts to the side of the tranny and on a real bad day would only take about an hour to replace.....go figure:-)
One helpful tip I can give you is when you remove the top tranny/engine mounting bolts it is a lot easier to get to through the hole in the floor once you remove the gearshift.

Fast-

That's a great idea on the two top bolts.

The system actually is a good thing. Much fewer moving parts to replace. This is a job I got down to 30 minutes in the field. Makes me glad I don't have an auto.

Tip- The shifter comes off by removing the nut and placing it on the other side of the stud, then tighten until it is released.
