Roughness in driveline
Hi all,
My brother has a 97 F150 4.6L with an automatic transmission. He had a roughness in the driveline that felt like he was hitting rumble stripes. The dealer power flushed the transmission and the problem diappeared. The trans fluid was replaced but not flushed at 30K miles and this problem started at 42K miles. He has 46K on it now and it is still smooth.
