Cool

HI!... IMHO, I would say REDLINE D4. I've always run REDLINE lubricants in all my vehicles and never had any problems with it.

You can't go wrong with either one. I've used AMSOIL ATF for over 5 years and am very happy with it.

Amsoil's ATF is recommeded to replace

For DEXRONŽIII, MERCONŽ, Ford M2C138-CJ, Ford M2C166-H and Chrysler ATF Plus, MS-7176B Applications

Also note that Amsoil ATF drain interval is 3 times the manufacture recommendation. It can lower transmission temps 20-50 degrees.

If you would like more information go here:

good luck

Thumbs up

I can't speak with direct expierence about D4 ATF.
I did just purchase some for my 1st upcoming change though.
I do have some expierence with another Redline product, MTL which was very good.
I had a '91 Ford Explorer with a 5 speed manual transmission that called out using ATF. These transmissions were a trouble point in these vehicles. At 25K I checked the fluid and it was black, basically cooked. I changed it with conventional ATF and watched it for 10K more miles. By that time it was already heading towards black.
After doing a little reasearch I went with Redline MTL and this stuff held its red color for at least 50K more miles and shifted very smooth. I then traded it for the Supercrew so it may have gone even further I don't know. I purchased the D4-ATF as I was happy with their past products results.
